The hood is compact and adjustable via a drawcord at the crown, cinching to a close fit around the face. The collar is high-standing with a chin guard at the top of the zip run. The full-length zip closure sits behind an inner storm flap that prevents wind ingress at the front opening. The zip puller is a silver ring-pull design.

The defining structural feature of this jacket is the diamond chest panel construction — a system of angled seam lines that run from each shoulder toward the centre chest, forming a V or X-shaped geometric structure across the front panels. Deep, flat black across the matte softshell surface. All seam lines, pocket zips, and hardware read tonally. The compass badge carries a purple graphic on black ground — the same colourway-specific badge variant as the Purple jacket, providing the sole colour accent on an otherwise all-black exterior. The most utilitarian and stealthy read of the three colourways.
