BAPE ABC Camo Ape Head "By Bathing Ape" Crewneck Sweatshirt - Gray / Black

The Camo Head. Two Colourways, Two Camo Palettes.

This is one of BAPE's most direct graphic constructions: the full Ape Head silhouette, filled entirely with ABC Camo, centred on the chest of a 420gsm crewneck sweatshirt. "BY BATHING APE ®" in bold white type beneath the head. No other graphics. The image is large -- it runs from below the neckline to the lower chest, close to full-panel coverage.

The two colourways carry different ABC Camo palettes, producing different visual registers on different base fabrics. They are not the same graphic on different backgrounds: the camo fill changes with the base.

Gray — Yellow ABC Camo Head

Heather grey melange ground: black and white mixed-yarn cotton, producing a textured, flecked surface. The Ape Head fill is Yellow ABC Camo -- bright lemon yellow blobs with black secondary blobs and white retained face features (brow line, nose, mouth outline). Yellow on grey is a warm-register combination: the graphic reads as energetic and high-contrast without the visual weight of the black base. BY BATHING APE text in white beneath. Left cuff: small circular Ape Head woven badge.

Black — Green ABC Camo Head

Flat matte black cotton ground, smooth surface. The Ape Head fill is Green ABC Camo -- olive green and deep forest green blobs with black secondary blobs and white face features. Green on black is a cooler, harder combination: the military palette of the camo reads more forcefully against the dark ground. The same graphic construction as the Gray colourway, but the green camo carries different associations -- utility, field, outdoor -- than the yellow. BY BATHING APE text in white beneath; white on black has higher contrast than white on grey. Left cuff: small circular Ape Head woven badge.
