BAPE SS26 WGM Shark Glitter Print T-Shirt — Black

Two distinct graphic programs on a single heavyweight linen-cotton T-shirt, neither of which uses standard screen printing. The front carries the shark face in a configuration specific to this piece: the zipper running down the centre of the face — the detail that defines the Shark Full-Zip Hoodie silhouette — is reproduced here as a silver glitter print. Not a zipper. Not a graphic of a zipper. A field of silver metallic glitter in the exact shape of a zipper pull, teeth, and track, sitting between the two white oval eye patches and above the open shark mouth. In flat light it reads as a silver stripe. In any directional light — sun, flash, overhead — it activates and reflects. The teeth, gum line, and eye patches are printed in standard ink; the zipper element alone carries the glitter surface.

The back carries "WGM" in oversized varsity letterforms, centred on the upper back. Each letter is a separate colour and a separate material treatment: W in red with a textured glitter fill; G in deep blue with a textured glitter fill; M in yellow-to-purple gradient with a gold-orange glitter fill. The three letters do not share a colour system — they sit next to each other as three independent decisions. WGM (World Gone Mad) is the BAPE sub-label that runs across the SS26 season; the varsity format here reads the abbreviation as a collegiate reference rather than a logo, which is its own statement about how the brand names things.

The base fabric is a 270gsm linen-cotton blend — heavier than a standard T-shirt weight, with a surface texture that is visible and tactile. The linen content introduces a slight slub and a matte finish that contrasts with the glitter elements on both faces of the garment. The silhouette is oversized with a dropped shoulder. The ABC Camo hang tag (green colourway, SS26) attaches at the collar. The Ape Head woven label sits on the left sleeve.
