A Stone Island lightweight hooded windbreaker in a smooth, matte-finish nylon or polyester shell fabric — thin, drapey, and breathable with a clean surface and minimal visual texture. A functional outer layer suited to wind and light rain resistance, worn over lighter base layers or as a standalone transitional piece.

The hood is generously cut with a two-cord drawstring at the opening, finished with black cord-locks that allow the hood to be cinched close on both sides. The front closure is a concealed zip — the zip teeth and slider are hidden behind a clean face placket, giving the front panel an uninterrupted, minimal appearance. A small metal hook sits at the collar. The left chest carries a vertical zip chest pocket, positioned centrally on the panel with the zip running top to bottom; the zip puller incorporates a reflective tab detail.

The defining functional detail of this jacket is its reflective piping system: vertical reflective tape lines run along both sleeve seams, from shoulder to cuff, providing 360-degree visibility enhancement in low-light conditions. The reflective strips are positioned on the outer sleeve seam line, reading as a clean linear detail in daylight and activating under direct light at night. The reflective trim on the chest pocket zip adds a further accent point at the front panel.

The sleeve construction is raglan — the sleeve panel joins the body from the collar seam to the underarm in a diagonal seam line. Cuffs are elasticated with a ribbed finish. The hem is fully elasticated, gathering softly at the waist and hip for a secure fit without a drawcord. The overall silhouette is relaxed and slightly oversized with a dropped shoulder.

White (Off-White / Cream)

A warm off-white or cream — not optical white, but a soft, slightly warm pale ground. The reflective sleeve piping reads as dark lines against the pale base in daylight, providing strong tonal contrast. The concealed zip placket, chest pocket, and drawstring cords are dark or black-finished, reinforcing the contrast play. The compass badge yellow-green reads clearly. In low-light or flash conditions, the reflective piping activates brightly. The most contrast-forward colourway of the two.

Black

Deep, flat black across the lightweight shell. The reflective sleeve piping is silver-white — invisible against the black in flat daylight, but fully activating in low-light to produce two clean vertical lines of reflected light running the full length of each sleeve. The chest pocket zip reflective tab also activates. The compass badge yellow-green is the sole daytime colour accent on the all-black ground. A classic dual-register garment: minimal by day, high-visibility by night.
