BAPE FW24 Baby Milo on Ape Head T-Shirt — White / Black

The Two Characters. One Perched on the Other.

This FW24 T-shirt pairs BAPE’s two most recognisable characters in a single vertical composition: the Ape Head occupies the lower and larger position, rendered in its cartoon form with a deep brown face and yellow-gold facial features — eyes, brow, mouth area — scaled up to dominate the chest. Baby Milo sits directly on top, smaller in scale, in the seated posture he’s always drawn in: black cap, orange face, orange body, short legs hanging on either side of the Ape Head like a child settled on someone’s shoulders. The two figures share the same colour logic (orange and brown-gold) and read as a unit rather than two separate graphics placed together. To the lower right of the composition, a single ® symbol — no other text. The graphic does not need to say what it is.

The two colourways alter the weight of the image. On white, the warm tones — the orange of Baby Milo, the deep brown of the Ape Head, the gold of the face details — read against a clean ground and the overall effect is open and graphic. On black, the same warm palette sits against a dark field: the brown Ape Head gains density and weight, the orange Baby Milo reads with higher contrast and more presence, the yellow face details become the brightest point in the image. The ® symbol switches from black to white between the two colourways.

The neck label is specific to the FW24 Baby Milo series: a white woven label with “Baby Milo” rendered in the series’ signature multicolour lettering (green, red, green) with three coloured dot motifs below — a detail that distinguishes the FW24 Baby Milo pieces from the standard BAPE label. The Ape Head woven label appears on the right sleeve.
