No Colour. Maximum Contrast.

Every other pair of shorts in this collection uses colour to carry the pattern. This one uses light. The City Camo on these shorts runs in three tones: deep black, mid grey, and a near-fluorescent bright white that reflects light with unusual intensity. In normal daylight, the contrast between the black base and the white patches is as high as any camo pattern in the collection. In low light or under UV, the white patches activate further. The result is a garment that changes behaviour depending on the environment — subdued in flat indoor light, aggressive in direct sun, and luminous after dark. The Ape Head silhouettes embedded throughout the pattern are most visible on the white patches, where the black Ape Head outlines surface cleanly against the bright ground.

The shark face graphic covers the full front panel at maximum scale. The face is the only element on the garment that introduces colour: white oval eye patches with red circular pupils, a black outline, white serrated teeth, and a red gum line. The two red elements — pupils and gum line — are the sole chromatic accents on a piece that is otherwise entirely achromatic. Against the black-and-white camo ground, they read at high contrast. The back panel carries the full City Camo print without the shark face — clean camo coverage with embedded Ape Head silhouettes visible throughout.
