This is the BAPE One Point crewneck -- the label's most restrained product format. No camo, no shark face, no all-over print. The only graphic element on the garment is a small Ape Head embroidery on the left chest, approximately 2cm, in gold-brown thread. The back is entirely clean. The sleeves are entirely clean. The crewneck is entirely clean. In a product lineup defined by maximum graphic density, this piece operates by removing everything except the mark that identifies what it is.

The construction is built around a 420gsm cotton fleece. At that weight, the fabric has a different physical presence than standard-weight sweatshirt cotton -- it sits on the body rather than draping against it, holds its shape through washing without softening into a thinner hand, and has a visible surface density in person that photographs do not fully convey. The ribbed cuffs and hem band are double-layer, with good recovery. The crewneck collar is a fitted rib, low-profile, lying flat against the neck rather than standing.

Two colourways:

• Gray: heather grey -- a cotton-mix yarn that produces the characteristic flecked surface of mixed grey, warmer than cool, with natural variation across the fabric face. The gold-brown Ape Head embroidery sits at medium contrast against the grey ground.
• Black: flat black, smooth surface with no heather variation. The gold-brown Ape Head embroidery reads at higher contrast against the black ground than against the grey. The back panel in this colourway is uninterrupted black -- no seam graphics, no text, nothing.
