The Colour Camo That Has Nothing to Do With the Military.

Standard ABC Camo runs in greens, browns, and earth tones -- the palette of natural camouflage. This colourway does not. The Ape Head pattern here is printed in sky blue, navy blue, and coral pink on a white ground: four colours with no military reference point, no terrain logic, no concealment intent. The camo shapes are the same -- the Ape Head silhouette blobs that define ABC Camo -- but the colour choices have moved the pattern entirely into a different register, closer to a watercolour repeat or a summer textile print than to any military source. The full garment is covered in it: hood, body, both sleeves, continuous across every seam.

The hood carries two distinct graphic layers. On the inside of the crown, the WGM letters are embroidered in heavy block stitching: "W" in orange-red, "G" in deep violet, "M" in orange -- visible when the hood is folded back. On the face of the hood, the shark construction is a dual-face split along the zip: the right side is the standard shark -- black jaw outline, white serrated teeth, red interior, red-pupil eye -- and the left side is the orange cartoon character face with round eyes and black stripe marks that appears across the PA series, the same figure used in the FW25 City Camo release. The two halves close together along the zip into a single compound face.

The cuffs and hem are white ribbed cotton, picking up the white ground of the camo rather than adding a contrasting trim colour. The Ape Head woven label is at the right cuff. The kangaroo pocket sits at the front.

This colourway was released as part of the BAPE PA series for the Hangzhou location. The coral-and-blue palette -- colours associated with water, with southern Chinese landscapes, with the visual vocabulary of the cities along the eastern coast -- sits at a distance from the utilitarian origins of camouflage while using the same underlying pattern structure.
