BAPE x Liberty Walk SS26 Badge T-Shirt - Black / White

Two Japanese Institutions. One Badge.

The SS26 BAPE x Liberty Walk collaboration organises everything into a single circular badge graphic centred on the chest. The outer ring carries the two brand names in arched text: "LIBERTY WALK" along the upper arc, "A BATHING APE" along the lower arc -- the lower text runs inverted along the curve, a deliberate typographic choice that requires the viewer to orient themselves to read it. Inside the circle, three elements are layered: an Ape Head rendered in ABC Camo rather than solid colour as the base; two red four-pointed burst stars at the left and right positions; and the letters "LB" in Gothic script at the front, sitting above both. LB is Liberty Walk's mark -- recognised immediately in the modified car world, now placed at the centre of a BAPE graphic alongside the ABC Camo Ape Head.

Below the badge, three lines of text extend the collaboration's reach across three languages: "Liberty Walk" in Japanese katakana in red, "APES TOGETHER STRONG" in the secondary colour, and "Liberty Walk" in Korean in red below. The three-language structure -- English in the badge, Japanese katakana, Korean -- positions this as a collaboration oriented toward East Asian streetwear markets without stating it explicitly.

Liberty Walk (LB WORKS) was founded by Wataru Kato and builds wide-body conversion kits for Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, and McLaren -- radical modifications that prioritise visual aggression over factory specification. The brand's aesthetic logic -- taking something already extreme and pushing it further -- is not unlike what BAPE has done with streetwear since the 1990s. The red burst stars in the badge are doing that work visually: they introduce the energy of the Liberty Walk aesthetic (speed, impact, disruption) into BAPE's established graphic language.
