The construction is a 2-in-1 design: the lower leg detaches at the knee via a concealed zip, converting the full-length cargo jogger into a cargo short. Both configurations are functional finished garments, not transitional or unfinished at the conversion point.

The waistband is fully elasticated with an internal drawcord — the drawcord ends emerge at the front waistband opening for external adjustment — and a single metal snap-button closure at the fly. The left thigh carries a horizontal zip-through pocket with a snap-button sub-pocket below it. The right thigh carries a large flap cargo pocket with a snap-button closure, a small webbing strap or auxiliary compartment, and the Stone Island compass rose badge sewn directly to the cargo pocket panel (yellow-green on black ground, both colourways).

The zip-off point sits at the knee. At this join, a circumferential zip runs around both legs; a drawcord with cord-lock sits at the hem of the upper section to allow cinching when worn as shorts. The detached lower leg panels are tapered and close with elasticated ribbed jogger cuffs at the ankle. When worn as full trousers, the silhouette is a relaxed tapered cargo jogger with gathered ankles. When worn as shorts, the silhouette is a full-volume mid-thigh cargo short with an open, structured pocket arrangement on both outer legs.
