Base: The badge is constructed on a square woven fabric base, approximately 4.5 × 4.5 cm, with slightly rounded corners. The base fabric is a fine plain-weave or twill-weave textile ground — visible at extreme close range as a structured woven material with consistent thread density and a matte surface — not rubber, not felt, not printed substrate. The base colour matches the garment body: black base on the Black colourway, and the equivalent for the White colourway. The badge is attached to the left chest of the T-shirt by machine topstitch on all four edges, with fine, evenly spaced stitch lines in a thread colour matching the base fabric, producing a clean, flush attachment with no visible fraying or raw edge.

Circular Badge Design: Within the square base, the full badge design occupies a circular area centred on the square, filling the interior from edge to edge. The circular design is composed of two concentric zones:

Fabric

The body is constructed in a custom double-yarn plain-weave cotton. The fabric surface is extremely smooth and high-density, with a slight optical brightness and near-zero surface texture variation. At close range, the weave is essentially invisible to the naked eye — the surface reads as a composed, uniform flat ground with the optical quality of a mid-weight poplin but with greater body and substance than standard poplin. The double-yarn construction produces a compact, stable, non-stretchy weave that holds its silhouette cleanly across the chest and body without distortion or sagging, and provides an ideal stable ground for the appliqué badge attachment, keeping the badge flat and correctly positioned without any fabric pull or bunching around the sewn edges.

The fabric sits in the upper weight range for a summer T-shirt: it is clearly heavier and more substantial than standard single-yarn jersey, producing a composed, tailored drape rather than a soft, malleable hand. The T-shirt hangs cleanly from the shoulders and maintains its shape in wear without requiring adjustment.

Construction Details

The crew neckline is finished with a ribbed neckband, approximately 2 cm wide, with a clearly defined vertical rib structure. The neckband sits flat and even around the full circumference of the neck opening.
